How can I report multiple entries for a single step?

I am having problems reporting multiple string entries for a single step...  I went into the VI and manually created a concatenated string output which I set equal to step.result.reportText   but it does not show up on the report.  Is there another way to accomplish this?  Once again I have 4 string inputs I want to display on the TDR.

I found what the problem was.... there had been a character limit set for step.result.reportText
