Hi sfl,

What version of TestStand are you running? What Operating System are you on? Do you receive this error immediately upon launching the Sequence Editor? What happens if you attempt to launch one of the TestStand shipping OIs?

Do you recall the events that took place before TestStand got into this state? What changed about your setup from when TestStand seemed to be working properly and when you first received this error?

After a TestStand crash, the PC reboot, and it will become impossible to launch TestStand V4.1. I tried to uninstall it and re-install it but the problem is still present.

For your information, I also uninstall TestStand V4.1 and install V4.0 and V4.0 works. But all my development had been made with V4.1 and my sequences can not be used with V4.0

The problem is with TestStand V4.1 which runs a Windows XP

Hi sfl !

It seems like there is an issue with Infragistics Controls.

Actually, I don't know if these controls are part of TestStand, or if this is a .NET component that TestStand is unable to launch.

So, I will ask my colleagues to find an answer concerning that issue.

Regards,

Hi,

Before contacting my colleagues can you try something ?

Use the software I attached below to uninstall TestStand 4.1 and its associated components. Then reboot your computer, perform a registry clean, with a software like registry cleaner.

Then reinstall TestStand 4.1 and try to launch it.

Can you do that ?

It seems like a file / registry key is corrupted on your system and TestStand is unable to load a part of its User Interface control.

Have a nice day !

I can not use mislab because I have other NI applications installed and I do not want to remove them.

I use registry cleaner, but unfortunately, the problem is still remaining.

Could you please see with your collegues ?

Regards

Hello,

I understand, but you don't have to uninstall each National Instruments software ! You can select to uninstall only TestStand like in the picture beneath :

Ok, I uninstall TestStand V4.0 + V4.1 with this tool. But the problem is still remaining after re-installation of TestStand V4.1
