More XML Stylesheets Available?

Anybody has stylesheets for XML reports other than the ones coming with TestStand?

Hello Costel -

I don't know about current stylesheet availability in general, but what sort of templates are you looking for in addition to the standard 'table' style/'text' style stylesheets we have now? We are trying to get feedback on XML report styles that are useful for customers in order to inprove our examples.

Thanks for your answer, Elaine. The 'report' and 'newreport' stylesheets available in the 'Examples\XMLReports' directory give the ubiquitous HTML report style. That's too rich for our needs (i.e. too much clutter). The tree structure is hard to read and there are too many colors. We need a text-like report with a header section similar to the current one, but we'd like to have the results in tabular form with the column heading, then the results following below that. Colors should be used sparringly, if at all.

Best regards,

Hello Elaine !

I´m supporting Costel Vasiliu:s proposal !
We also need XML-reports like a "short-form" version !

See attached pdf-document (proposal)...
NB ! Subsequences are done with indentations !
The best format is A4 portrait...

Do you have any stylesheets looking like this ?

Best Regards

Just an update: In addition to the built in Style Sheets, you could modify the existing Style Sheets to display the information as you choose.

TestStand 4.2 features improved XML Style Sheets that are restructured to reduce the time required to generate HTML output from XML report files and to simplify the task of modifying style sheets so that you can change the appearance and content of XML reports.
