Hi Josh W.,

So is the current solution not too upgrade to NET Framework 2.0 SP1 until NI has a fix?

Ray,

That is correct.

To clarify: this issue only affects the variables view and insertion palette in User Interfaces, not in the Sequence Editor.  So if you have either a production machine using these controls in a UI, or are working on a UI on your development machine, we recommend you do not upgrade at this time.

The problem does not affect the Sequence Editor, so if you are doing development of sequences, but not of UIs, you will not experience trouble, and so are free to upgrade.

We are working on the patch for this issue, and I will post here when it is available.

To add my own experience with this, SP1 (as Josh indicated) is part of Windows Update.  All of my development team was updated through this, and the only way to "uninstall" it is to completely remove the 2.0 .NET Framework and reinstall the base version.  You cannot (to my knowledge) just remove the Service Pack.
