Operator Privileges not working

Solved!
Go to solution

I'm using TS2014 SP1 (32 bit) and wondering if anyone has encountered the following:

In my user manager, I have an Administrator and an Operator user (operator user and Operator Group attached).  What I am seeing is that when logged in as the Operator, I still have all the admin priviledges. For example, I can still edit station globals and edit users, including setting the password for the admin user.  The operator privilege is for EditStationGlobals  (Debug) is set to False, as is Edit Users (under Configure).

Actions I've tried:

1. Remove Operator user

2. Completely exit from TestStand, not just close or logout

3. Restart TestStand, Login in as Admin

4. Add new operator user assigned to Operator group

5. Repeat step 2 & 3, but login as operator

6. Still am able to modify station globals and users

7. Verified group privilege(s) are set to not allow station global or user edit

8. Tried this method on another installation and works as expected.  The operator cannot edit users or station globals.

Short of an un-install/re-install, I'm not sure where else to adventure.

Thanks!
