RTE vs LV Developmend Environment in TS

Hi,

Do you think is there any difference in speed of module execution when LV RTE is used instead of LV Development Environment?

I can tell you from experience that I believe the RTE is faster.  Because it doesn't have to load the entire environment every time you execute.

I think the bigger issue here is cost.  RTE is free.  Dev Env costs a lot of money.

When I'm developing the Dev Env is ideal because it's easy to manipulate and change VIs.  Deployment machines shouldn't have the development enviornments for TestStand or LV.  Because then your oprators can cause "damage."

Thanks for your opinion.

In my environment it use full to have the developent environments on the deployment machines. However, I'm taking the point.

Cheers,

Any other experience?
