Remove "Test Socket" field from TestStand Report Header?

I'm new to Test Stand and am simultaneously learning it while developing with it AND testing units. (Fun huh?)

Anyway, one of our TestStand stations is showing an additional header field called "Test Socket". I normally wouldn't care that it's there, however, fields below it are all shifted left from that column over. I.e. the UUT serial number is under "Test Socket" instead of "Serial Number".

I've tried swapping the stylesheet from another station and been searching around, but cannot find out how to fix it or get rid ot it. I'm supposed to have it fixed for any and all test results produced today. I've tried looking at the help files and configuration settings, but no luck.

Also, I'm trying to figure out how to get the automatic "Retry, Force Pass, Continue, Terminate" dialog to pop up on a failure as it's shown in the examples. I've looked at all of the sequence settings and can't find how it's done. If someone can just quickly point me in that direction as well, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

For your last questin you must click on the edit Tab in TestStand. Then press Sequence File Callbacks. Then add SequenceFilePostStepFailure. In present then will shown yes.

Now you only have to insert in the Sequence SequenceFilePostStepFailure the same what is in the example in the same sequence. And you must creat the same Containers in the parameters tab wich are in the example.

I hope this help you

Thanks for your response. I'll give that a try.

Oh, and we were able to fix the issue with the generated test report. We copied some of the other files from a "working" station to our problem station and it seems to have fixed it. We still don't understand what caused the issue.

Thanks.

The serial number for the unit is 021, you can see that the lower row from the Test Socket Index column is shifted over to the left once place.

Like HTML, I believe that somehow, TestStand is told to put the "Test Socket Index" field in the table, but doesn't add any data in the next row under that column, not even a space or   but shifts everything over.

I don't know how the Test Socket Index header came to be displayed, or how to turn it off, but by copying the files from another station to this one, we were able to get rid of it.

Thanks.

Hi
Yes, from that bitmap it look does look like an issue with the Stylesheet.
But I cannot conform that unless I look into the xml report file.

Can you please post an example report (xml file).

I can then give you an updated stylesheet to fix this issue.

Thank you

Well, we tried copying the stylesheet from our working station to the one exhibiting this problem and it didn't seem to make a difference. It was adding the parameter for the Test Socket, but nothing for the row under it.

Unfortunately, I can't post the xml file itself without doing some editing since it's actually considered proprietary information by our company.

Since we've been able to remedy the problem by copying a majority of the teststand files from one machine to the other, we don't have the problem anymore. If I get a chance, I'll see if I can edit and post an actual xml file.

Thanks again!
