Test Stand deployment utility load failed

I have a problem for 2014 teststand . When I try to use the deploy utility. It opens and then closes automatically.  Therefore, I cannot do any deployment. IT does not load and start.  What is wrong for teststand 2014 deployment utility? How could I fix it? appreciated for the urgent help!

Hi hatao,

 

This sounds like some error in installation.  Do you see any error when the utility closes?

 

Here are two articles with possible solutions for this issue.  If you see an error, and it matches the message in the first article, try those steps.  Otherwise, I would try a force reinstall of Teststand to see if the issue is resolved.

Now I am facing another problem after uninstall all the software and install again. The deployment ask me to instlal Teststand 2014 SP1 32 bits and runtime during deployment. please see the picture. I tried to search your site and I cannot find any download link for Teststand 2014 SP1 32 bits. Could you help provide the link ?

You will need an active SSP account to access older versions of Teststand from our download site, so you will need to log in before downloadign the file.

Hi Michael,

 

     I went into the page before. I login with my Ni account. I cannot see the download link. My company currently paid the license for the tools. What is active SSP account ? Could I directly download if not active SSP account? Please instruct.

Hi HaTao,

 

SSP is our standard support package, which includes access to downloads of older software versions. As Michael said, you'll need to have SSP in order to download the software from our website. Make sure the serial number for your license is registered to your NI account. If the serial number includes SSP, you will have access to the download link. If the serial number is registered and you still do not see the link, it is likely you do not have SSP and will need to purchase it in order to gain access to the download link.

 

I would recommend speaking with the purchasing department or IT at your company to see if they know if you have an active SSP account.

The previous station has the software teststand 2014 SP1 installed. Now because the teststand has corrupted files in error. I have to use teststand 2014 SP1 to do the repair. I am sure we have the number. 

Our VLM account number is 76029. Is that the one we need?  Also attached is the result of serial number I typed to search but cannot find the NI 2014 SP1. How come the previous station has SP1 installed in company computer? This tells me that we must have the account.

Hi,

 

I wouldn't recommend putting your serial numbers on the internet because that makes it very easy for someone to steal them. Activation and account issues cannot be handled well over the forums. Please make a service request by visiting ni.com/support and selecting "Open a request" and we'd be happy to help you from there.
