The TestStand status bar goes black whenever I change the windows theme?

When testing my TestStand operator interface we noticed that whenever we change the Windows theme the status bar goes black and does not return to the original color even if the theme is reverted.  If the interface is closed and restarted it comes back correctly.  After spending an hour looking at my code I verified that the sequence editor behaves the same way.  Since the status bar ends up with black text on a black background it is useless.  How do I prevent this behavior?

This is a know issue that has not been fixed or scheduled for fix, but we are tracking the issue internally with ID #48979. We are not aware of any workaround other than restarting the application. This issue only occurs when changing the theme while the application is running. Do you expect the users of your UI to be changing themes often?

Although I do not expect this to be a frequent occurrence, I want the best piece of software I can reasonably achieve.  Since I know how to handle these messages myself, I will probably replace your control with my own based on Microsoft's status bar.  Unless this will be corrected in the next release of TestStand  I will replace it.
