Most likely, you do not have the Microsoft XML Parser installed.  You can check which versions you have installed by using the ActiveX Adapter in TestStand and looking for Microsoft XML Parser.  There are several versions, and it may depend on which version of TestStand you have.  TestStand installs the Parser on installation, but if you have removed or unregistered it, this may happen.

Which versions do you have installed?

Can you check what versions of the Microsoft XML Parser you have installed?

You can find this by using an ActiveX Step in TestStand.  Select Specify Module, and scroll through the lists of Automation Servers.

You may need to repair your installation of TestStand, or install the Microsoft XML Parser by downloading it from Microsoft and reinstalling it.

Please try reinstalling the Microsoft XML Parser.  It can be found here- http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=3144b72b-b4f2-46da-b4b6-c5d7485f2b42&Displa....
