change default in exe

Is it possible to change default in an EXE?

I want to run this exe file in background (service) so that even if the power goes out and turns back on, it still runs. The problem is that when the program runs again, all the inputs are back to initial default. I was wondering if it is possible to change and set defaults in an exe, not when I build the EXE.

Hi Yoon,

What development environment are you using to create this executable? At this point, I'm not even sure if this a Teststand issue. Please provide more detail.

I've already figured it out. I wrote another program that saves all the inputs. Then I had my main exe program start with opening the input file.
