long processing time after long continues run

Hi,

We are using NI ELVISmx to generate a square pulse and write data inside a timed loop. When we use continues run for long time (say 5 hours), the pulse width of the square signal starts to increase.

We set the ON and OFF duration time of the signal to be 5sec each, and after 5 hours it starts to reach 10seconds each (double!).

We are not sure why this is happening. I wonder if there is any solution for this?

Thanks.

How does this refer to NI TestStand?

If it does, please explain how.

If it does not, please reply to your own question by stating the new(correct) location of your question as link.

In either way, attaching some code could help in helping you.

Thanks. I saw a similar thread in this section, that is why I posted the new thread here.

If here is not suitable, maybe in general labview section it would be more related?
