Aquiring data via GPIB from HP3561A using PXI8110 ebedded controller

Hi there,

I'm trying to measure signals in low frequency via GPIB from a HP3561A using the PXI8110 in narrow bands (discretization of 400 points). When I'm measuring bandwidths bigger than 400 Hz there is no problem, but under 400 Hz although the analyser is able to measure the signal, the PXI cannot read/aquire the generated data. So, the doubt is: is there any limitation? how can I read the data from the analyser in this case?

I had some questions to ask you to try to figure out what the problem is.

First, how are you communicating with the GPIB device (MAX, LabVIEW, etc.)?

Also, are you receiving an error message with this issue? If yes, could you post a picture of it on here? If not, could you perform an NI I/O Trace and then attach the trace file to this discussion forum? The following link is to a KnowledgeBase article describing how to perform a good NI I/O Trace:
