Calibration

Hello everyvone,

i have a PXIe System with 5 modules and there are some AI which show for example ~1V althaugh there is no voltage on the Input.

I have already made the calibration at MAX.

What can i do now?

Hello Ache,

why do you think, that there is no voltage, i.e. potential difference on the input? (I.e. why should be 0 V if you do not short the input?)

Actually, if you don't connect a signal-cable, the input will float, so there will be a voltage defined by oxide trapped charges, noise and the input circuitry itself.

So if you have doubts, how the AI-channel behaves in case of 0 V input, just short-circuit it.
