Already have a single chassis being controlled by a host and want to connect a second chassis. I have a PXIe-8381 (just found that 8381 does not support daisy chaining) card and a three meter copper cable PN 153803A-03. So I need more help than I thought when I began writing this.
Thanks

I found the link you shared the PXIe-8360 is no longer sold and the PXIe-8381 (which I have) does not support daisy chaining.
Price may vary with addition of accessories and services.

To daisy chain to another chassis, you'll need a bus expansion module. The bus expansion module that connects to the 8381 is the PXIe-8384. The 8384 will go in any peripherial slot of the master chassis and connect to the 8381 in the downstream chassis.

If you don't have the slot for an 8384 (and want to spend more money 🙂 ) you can replace your existing PCIe-8381+PXIe-8384 with a PCIe-8398+PXIe-8398. Then you can either

Thanks I will probably go with this because I only need to purchase one card. My employer blocks email messages telling me someone responded.
