NI PXI-4072 DMM Software Question

Hi, 

As from my previous post I have missed one little bit...

We have got NI PXIe-1073 Chassis with MXI-Express x1 and installed NI PXI-4072 6 1/2 Digit Flexx DMM card which we need to use and which we are planning to connect to the Laptop via ExpressCard.

We are planning to use NI PXI-4072 DMM to measure the resistance and see the changes on the graph (like live oscilloscope style graph) and capture the data into CSV or similar format. Knowing that there is a need to use NI-DMM driver in order to communicate with NI PXIe-1073 & NI PXI-4072...

Am I correct that the Instrument Studio (which is free?) is the right solution and we won't be needing MatLab or any other non-free software? Are there any charges, licencing fees for the DMM GUI? We are currently tight on budget, so any licencing / software fees could make a big impact.

Please advise.

As long as you have the right hardware, Instrument Studio and other drivers are all FREE. I hope the feature set of Instrument Studio for DMM satisfies your needs.

You can use the capture data feature to store the captured data in CSV or TDMS.
