PXI-1033 Chassis is not recognized by MAX, using express card/Latitude D820 Laptop

I got a new PXI-1033 Chassis with an host Express Card that connects to a Dell Lattide D820 Laptop (that has the latest BIOS from Dell). A PXI-6542 resides on slot 2 of the chassis.

1) The Link led of the chassis is blinking red.

2) Both leds, Active and Access, in the PXI-6542 are OFF.

3) I have manually configure in MAX the controller as "External PC" and "PCI-1033 Embedded Controller", and the chassis as "NI PXI-1033"

4) The PXI-Cassis is always powered up before the Laptop is reboot.

The PXI-6542 is not shown in MAX.

Am I doing something wrong or one or more of my devices could be defective?

I have a few questions for you.  Did you install the driver for the PXI-6542?  NI-HSDIO (the driver you need) can be found here.  Also, are there any other cards in the chassis?  And if so, are they detected in MAX?
