Dear everyone,
I have one question related to extension of PXIe.
This is my system which I am using now.
- PXIe-1078 (chassis)
- PXIe-8840 (embedded controller)
- PXIe 7821R (Digital I/O)
- PXI 6723 (Analog output – Digital I/O)
In this system, PXIe 7821R (Digital I/O) is the FPGA which the project is built and complied. However, its capacity is not enough for my current project. Therefore, is it possible for me to add one FPGA (PXIe 7821R) more? And 2 FPGAs can operate parallel for one project?
Thanks and Regards

Hi ducdungle!
Yes, you can use. Especially operate parallel is possible.
If you need to synchronize 2 FPGAs, you should use the trigger line.
If you apart only the parts of the FPGA code well that are running in parallel, there is no problem running it.
Thanks
