Use SFP Transceiver in PXIe-6592

Hello，

I am using NI PXIe-6592. I tried to run the example project "NI PXIe-6592R Aurora Simple Streaming", but failed. The program is suspended at the write port.vi. I connected SFP transceiver to port 0 and port 2 instead of SFP+ transceiver. Can I use SFP transceiver in PXIe-6592?

I don't think the SFP transceiver's are going to work for you. The 6592 requires SFP+ and from what I've read, SFP aren't compatible with SFP+ connections (SFP+ can be used in SFP connections, but not the other way around).

Hi,

according to the datasheet for PXIe-6592, it only support SFP+ transceiver and not SFP.

SFP transceivers are not recommended to use with the selected PXIe card.
