Hello

I think your slot is multiple cards type slot something like PCMCIA/Cardbus slots being right below the express card slot, so it make loose. There is a support adapter available through National Instruments, 777550-01. You can find the item number at the product page by clinking the link. The product manual/installation guide is here.

I hope this information helps you.

Thant,

As a matter of fact, my laptop is a Panasonic Toughbook and the ExpressCard slot is distinct from the PCMCIA slot. Yet, the ExpressCard is very loose and a slight push sideways dislocates it. Will the strain-relief accesory you're referring to properly secure the card?

Thanks.

Strain-relief accesory helps the PC card to prevent from disconnected from laptop. Because most of the multiple cards type causes loosing, I said about the multiple cards type. This accessory can be both used for single or muti type. You better check the size of your laptop's slot and that of strain-relief accessory in manual/installation guide.

Please let me know if you have futher questions.
