i was trying to read a signal on channel 16 and it gives me 0 as output always.board used is PXI_6551.

Please be more specific about your question(driver versions, set up, steps to reproduce, etc.) so we can help you better. Have you tested this channel in MAX? Do you see the same behavior on other channels?
