updating to windows XP

Hi,
I would like to upgrade my PXI-8186 from Windows 2000 to XP professional. I did bought the controller  with WinXP, but requested for Win2000 factory installation. Now I want to upgrade to Xp, but I lost the XP CD & recovery disc that comes with the controller.

Can I use the supplied product key with any microsoft/OEM version of XP CD? Will there be any further driver compatibility issues with this?
How can I create the recovery disc for Win2000, incase I want to revert back.

Any Help plz..

I'm not sure of the detail of how this went through the FIS procedure but if you had an XP Recovery CD - this could mean that the image is of XP rather than win2K. The following document details how you can recover using the FirstWare utility:

Essentially, during boot-up you need to hold down F4 and this will allow you to start the process. Let me know how you get on!

We have one of these and its operation is pretty marginal with XP. Are you sure you want to upgrade? I've been thinking of dumping the XP installation and going to 2000.

Sounds starange....Are there any particular problems with WinXP.

I am currently running Win98 on my old machines and Win2000 is working fine on other machines. I am upgrading my old controllers to the current range and the controllers with XP are cheaper than the ones with 2000. So I am also planning to upgrade my Win2K machine to WinXP to make all old/ new machines have same OS.
