Load cell and Ni 9219

Hi, 

I'm working with the NI9219 conected to the a module with conection wireless (NI9191). I have a kit of load cells model: NTEP 4 Module Kit of 11250 lb Rice Lake, all cell are conected to the junction box model: JB4SS TuffSeal. My problems is:

- Ex source: I can't choose a external source and if I choose internal source. I can't puto a value higher than 2.5 V. The problem here is that the load cells need a excitation of 10 V, so I think that the excitation of 2.5 V is insufficient to the load cells and junction box to work well. The error here is:

Hello!

The error code you’re getting is due to the fact that the load cells are requiring a higher excitation voltage than the one that the NI-9219 is able to provide. As you can’t get an external source, the best option would be using another acquisition module.

For your specific application, the NI-9237 would fit your requirements:

It a data acquisition module for load, pressure, strain and torque. Moreover, it is able to provide different programmable excitation voltages (2.5, 3.3, 5 and 10V), which would satisfy your system requirements.

You should be able to use the NI-9237 with your NI cDAQ-9191.
