MT module FSK.Vi, Too slow: 5 seconds to generate one single waveform !

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi NI RF Guys,

I'm having bigs problems with the MT module FSK waveform.

I'm trying to generate RF signal, based on sending an input bit stream of 544 bits with a symbol rate of 8,8 KHz, with a Frequency Deviation of 15 KHZ and Center Frequency of 433.92 MHz.

The problem is that it takes 5 seconds, for the wave to be generated, which is too long.

I've noticed that by changing the symbol rate (inreasing it) the time of processing decrease wich is normal, but i've to send with a symbol rate of 8.8 KHz for my receiver to be able to "catch" the signal.

Is there any way to decrease the time of processing ?

Very Big thanks in advance

Hello Guetteur,

Can you please tell us what the solution was? Did you employ a workaround? Were you donig something wrong in yout original code?

Thanks in advance for the information.

Regards,

Hi,

I just lowered the "IQ Sample Rate" Value ...

Thanks! That answers why your waveform was taking so much time to create.
