I used to have some simple modulation VI's until I downloaded RFSG 1.5. I wanted to get those VI's back. A couple of them were called Generation AM and generation FM. I wanted to look at more simple modulation examples. I tried to look at the ftp site, ftp.ni.com, to find the examples, but couldn't. Please help.
Hey Kevin, The new RFSG 1.1 uses FGEN 2.3 to do generation. If you go into the Example Finder in LabVIEW and search for FM, you will find "niFgen FM Signal Generation.vi". Also, you can search for AM and find "niFgen AM Signal Generation.vi". These are fairly simple examples. However, they do use Modulation Toolkit that will need to be "reinstalled" after you install RFSG and FGEN.

Right, I found those before, but at one time I had several simple modulation files on the NI example finder. 2 of them were specifically called, Generation AM and Generation FM.vi. I was just trying to locate them and could not.
Hi Kevin, I recommend you upgrade your NI-RFSG driver to version 1.1. Once you do this, or if you already have, uninstall and reinstall Modulation Toolkit and then you should have a new suite of better RFSG examples installed at:
I am having a similar problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Modulation Toolkit that accompanied our PXI and the required subvi's are still missing. In addition, the Functions pallette is missing the RFSG and ni5660 as well.
