ni5640 input data format

Hi:

I am new on Labview FPGA. I am using ni5640r.

1. I want to transfer an array of data which is generated by labview from host to fgpa by using Invoke mehtod (write), do I need to set up I and Q before I transfer it and which format am I using U32, U16 or I16?

2. In FPGA, when I read the data from host and send it to FPGA I/O node , do I need to convert it to 14 bit?
