Another Year another Great CLA Summit

Hola My Lovelies,

This year the European CLA summit was held in Madrid and NI hosted a great event for 160 CLAs from all over the world. There were tracks, presentations, discussions, drinks, food and most importantly friends.

The European CLA feels like a family and I'm the anti-social grumpy, swears-too-much but tolerated uncle.

Why a family? We support each other, we collaborate and stand on each others shoulders. This is unique in my experience for such an event.

NI have created a great thing here. New this year was that they brought a lot of LabVIEW R&D leads and management from Austin. I think this was a great move and I strongly encourage NI to repeat this year-on-year. The mingling of NI with their power users will weaken barriers and improve communication greatly. Let's get on first name terms, let's have shared experiences.

So thanks to the organisers, thanks to NI, thanks to the presenters and thanks to Spain.
