Hi,
Which operating system is this on? is the test PC and PC on which this works both running the same? Also does the access denied error have any codes associated with it at all?
Are you installing the drivers to the drive on the machine or attempting to install it over the network to a user directory by mistake, i.e. is C: your local hard drive and one you have full access too?
Thanks,

My inatallation is a standard, stand alone XP professional with no network connection and only the admin account. My install is therefore local only. I am not expecting any access issues with this configuration. My own PC is a laptop, networked, XP prof. with my own accounts, etc, and the install was perfect.
The access denied message is generated by the windows driver installation and has no other associated messages. I am currently building a clone test PC from scratch and the NI drivers will be the first installation.
Thanks for any help.

I have completed a new build and have installed the NI devices and software with no issues.
The problem must be a USB type conflict with the RS232/USB and SPI/USB drivers that are installed on the original test PC. I do not, at the moment, need to have the other drivers installed for the temperature tests I am doing.
Thanks for the help.
