Controlling three webcams with tilt\PAN zoom

I am wondering if anybody can help me:

I have a project that  use three webcam with tilt\pan\zoom capability. I am also using three cRIO (9072) for data acquisition and control. I need also to be able to control the camera remotely over the Web. Where is the best place to connect the webcam (cRIO or directly to PC) .  I have never done any project using camera and I don’t know where to start. Do I need to get any specific camera that Labview has driver for or the Labview support any camera that has USB or Ethernet port.

You have 2 main options

1. You can use any Ethernet camera and use standard TCP/IP commands to view the images from your host computer. Then have your cRIO, connected to the same network adaptor. If you are building your own pan/tilt control you can control it with the cRio and if you are using a camera with built in tilt /pan you should be able to control that with the same Ethernet connections.

Option 2 is to use the setup designed for the FIRST Robotics teams. This set up will only work with This AXIS Camera. You can use this tutorial to see how they do it.
