Is there a way to manually boot a cRIO into Install Mode in MAX?

Hi Brad,

 

Have you seen this tutorial http://www.ni.com/white-paper/12402/en ? I should have linked this in my previous post. This goes over some additional ports that may need to be opened.

Yes, I've read everything NI has to offer on this.  I've already described that I think the problem is incomplete documentation, and it's very frustrating to keep getting basic troubleshooting advice.  We're well beyond the reboot-and-try-again stage.

I am bringing this to the attention of our platform team. Can you tell me which additional ports you found that you needed to open? Is there any chance you know which software or hardware they were related to? Any information you can give me will help better address this matter.

I've encountered the same problems. Is there already some solution or a reason why this problem is occuring?

 

LV12, RT12 installed. No firewall's and a direct connection between PC and cRIO 9022.

You're having the same issue using EtherCAT?  Could you be more specific?

Hi ShishKeBobby,

 

I am working with ethercat yes, but at that moment I was working with an admin account on my company's domain. 

I was forced to change to local account on PC because admin account was expired.

On local account I could acces the settings of cRIO.

Still I don't know the reason.
