How do you intend on communicating with the card? What protocol will you be using?

Hi Koye88,

Thank you for contacting National Instruments. I'm afraid we need a little more information in order to help you with this request. As Adnan asks, how are you communicating with this device? You mention that you are using a DOS based Data Acquisition device, who is this manufactured by? Is this an NI Data Acquisition card? Do you have any documentation about this particular device that we could look at?

If I can make a few recommendations about posting

1. Always include as much information as possible; the more information that you provide, the more likely you'll get a helpful answer

2. If you are using third party equipment, try and provide either datasheets or resources so that others can get up to speed on what you are trying to use.

3. If you have an existing setup that works, try and give a detailed picture as this can help when developing a newer solution.

4. If at all possible, please try and avoid posting the same question multiple times as this spreads the collective effort rather than concentrating it. In the long run, finding a solution will take longer.

If you can give us a bit more detail on what you are trying to do, we shall try and assist you.

Many thanks,

Thanks for the information.

There is a SONIX STR-8100 D digitizer card for Data Acquisition.

This Sonix STR8100 works with “Winspect” Data Acquisition Software.

I am looking for LabView Drivers for Sonix 8100 Digitizer card.

I believe I haven't provided a solution to your question; if so, you shouldn't mark my post as one. Again, you will need to tell us what kind of protocol/bus you are using to communicate with the card. If it's PCI based what kind of driver is provided with the card? For example, if you have a DLL interface, you can easily call that using LabVIEW.

Hi Koye88,

I sent a query off to Sonix to try and find some information about this board but I have not been able to find anything about  this particular part.

If you could post any information you happen to have about this part that would be greatly appreciated. It woulld also be useful if you could provide a link to any drivers that you have, regardless of whether or not these are LabVIEW or not. This will help with trying to work out how to get this setup working.

Thanks,
