I'm currently working on an industrial project. In this project I have to use a smart camera (ISC-178X) that is currently running a Windows IoT made by NI. I manage to make the program required for my task. However, I'm wondering what's the best way to make it automatic.
The idea is: after being power on, the camera start doing his task.
It seems there is many way to make that work: exporting via LabVIEW, make an exe application and use LabVIEW runtime or simply run the Ni Vision Builder AI at the start of Windows and start to run the inspection automatically.
In any case, my camera is working on Windows 10 IoT. it takes about 1m50s to start itself. Then I suppose LabVIEW Runtime start the application that I made via NI Vision Builder and the task is started.
for the second method, Windows startup + NI Vision Builder ai startup, it takes about 3min.
In any case, that's too long for my project. I don't really why it takes so long. there is no disk in the camera so only flash memory like SSD. Shouldn't it be faster ?
