Hi.
Im new in labview and cRIO, but I have been working with the systems for the last four weeks. I have a question and I think it is simple - but I can't figure it out my self. I'm working with a cRIO 9012 and NI 9229 and would like to sample with aprox. 2kHz. This does not seem to be a problem, but i would also like to write the data to a file for further analysis. The data can simply not be written fast enough to keep up the paste and the hole system slows down. When im saving 1000 data points the loop takes aprox 250 mSec to run.
What depth of the DMA can I use - currently it is set to 1023. Does that mean that I can only transfer 1023 points at the time?
Is there annother (better) way to transfer data from the FPGA to the host? The project should end up with 9 AI and 4 AO (NI 9263) and some kind of PI control (on the FPGA?)
I have attached my FPGA and host VI.
Please remember that i am a noob in labview and cRIO
Thanks
Best regards
