Hello,
I was wondering if anyone in the NI Community has had successful experience taking Heat Flux measurements with the cRio hardware? I have a GHT-2C Geothermal heat flux sensor from International Thermal Instruments and I am trying to find a suitable cRio module. The sensitivity of the GHT-2C is 4 Watts/M2, mV (Nom.). I will be taking some ground measurements, so I'm not sure what measurements I will be expecting or getting. I am looking for a module that can give me accurate measurements as well as low noicse/interference. Does anybody have a suitable solution for this application? Thank you.

Hi cdrras1,
I am not sure if anyone has already tiried that particular sensor on a cRIO plattform. I have done a little search on our Community Examples but I was not lucky finding an example that specific, however, depending on the sensor specs, you could consider (like to get a start on the cRIO modules) the 9205, which is an industrial I/O with 16bit of Analog Input resolution. Also I imagine that for your application you should also consider some other things so I would also suggest you to get in contact with some of the sales engineers form National Instruments that help you analyze what would be better for your system.
Regards,
