miniLAB 1008

I am using a miniLAB 1008 for the first time and I would like to know how to make a simple VI to turn on individual bits.  I don't know how to address the DO Port.  Any info or sample VIs would help.

Dwilley,

Though I don't directly work with this particular board, I believe that Measurement Computing makes a library for LabVIEW that interfaces with their devices.  If you have the MCC DAQ CD, these drivers and libraries should have been installed.  You can download this driver off of the Measurement Computing website.  If you have any questions on setting up the calls to the external dlls or the libraries, please feel free to post these in the LabVIEW forum.  If you have questions about using the Measurement Computing driver for the miniLAB 1008, I would suggest posting your question in the Measurement Computing Forums.  Have a great day.

I had similar issues getting up to speed with the LabVIEW and miniLAB 1008 interface.  Called Measurement Computing tech support, and they pointed me to a small library of applications developed specifically for this unit.

Good luck!
