Accelerometer/Vibration measurement. Difficulty: Total newb to vibration measurement.

Dear, now I mounted a electronic amplifier. I tried to measure in differential mode and , it shows a noise in 60Hz. See that I'm using a battery to power the electronic circuit... I'm using a USB-6009 device.
Anybody knows why? How can I to eliminate this noise?
Thanks a lot.

There are a lot of different factors that could result in 60Hz noise.  How large of amplitude is it?  Are you using shielded cables?  Often having your wires next to high voltage lines (wall power/ power cables / florescent lights, CRT monitors ) would induce 60Hz noise in your line.  Shielding your cables would help resolve this.

Which voltage from the amplifier are you measuring?
