Is the pc1 - 6251 card compatible with scxi 1000

My scx1 -1000 module with scxi 1303 in slot 1 will not communicate with the M series pci 6251 card . I am running Labview8 in windows xp.

Hi,

PCI/PXI ( Express versions too) 6251 cards are compatible with SCXI signal conditioning

USB 6251 is not compatible with SCXI

Have you configured/assigned  your SCXI chassis to The DAQ card correctly in MAX??

Thank you for responding.The following is the procedure I used in Max& measure along with the messages given.

In NI-DAQmx Devices i created new device scxi-1000

Chassis Communicator NI PCI-6251

Communicating SCXI Module slot 1

Chassis adress 0

auto detect modules box ticked

saved

Message in scxi chassis config window "Chassis is empty.click the modules tab and insert a module"

so i manually inserted the following:-  module array scxi- 1102

                                                             accessory scxi -1303

Then in the window for scxi 1303 in  the tab for cabling "which device connecting" i put pci-6251 and the same for module digitiser.It is obvious that the chassis & modules are unable to be detected automatically.On completing config. i return to the main configuration window and right click on the scxi-1102 "scimod1" go to test panels press start and the following message appears :-

error -200073

scxi module specified in hardware config was not found.
