Pls help!! can labview work with durations in the range of micro seconds?

hi,

i am new to labview and have a problem thats makin it difficult for me to move ahead in my project. Pls help..

the problem decription-

i am multiplexing a 16 pixel parallel signal using a 68100 MUX. i am aquiring the serial output using labview.
now the various pixels are modulated on a sine wave. the duration of each pixel is around 7.8 micro seconds, with the
total duration of one set of 16 pixels being 125 micro seconds.
to get the various pixels demultiplexed, i must sample the signal for durations of 7.8 micro seconds. i dont know how to do this.
tried working with the wait and wait until next milisec functions but they work only in the millisecond range..

next i want to store the pixel values in an array and repeat the process N number of times. each time i need to add the magnitude of each coressponding pixel to the value already stored in the array from a previous addition.

if anyone can provide any help i will be grateful.. am really short of time..

Hi rai,

sorry, I don't understand your hardware description.(I don't know what a 68100 MUX is )  It's sound to me, that you are using an external controller to sample your data and get a serial stream via ???

And you are using LabVIEW on a PC to analyse it?

More general: Your sample timing should be done by hardware timers/counter.
