SG24

When trying to run SG24, SCC2345, Load Cell and DAQmx I'm getting this error,

Error -200161 occurred at DAQmx Read (Analog 1D Wfm NChan NSamp).vi

Possible reason(s):

Device to which the sensor is attached does not have an available internal excitation source.

Select another device with an available internal excitation source or supply external excitation.

Channel Name: Strain
Device: Dev1

Task Name: _unnamedTask<2>

When running the Test Panel in MAX I can flex the Load Cell and cause the waveform to move up and down.  Seems to work fine.

Properties window for the Assistant looks OK.

Any ideas??

Am I correct in assuming that you are using the DAQ assistant? It sounds like you have selected the analog input on your DAQ card, rather than the analog input on the SG-24 module. When selecting the physical channel, please select "SCC1Mod1/ai0" rather than "Dev1/ai0." This will let the driver know that you do have the module attached and that the channel is capable of providing its own, known exitation.
