Using SCC-SG04 and load cell on SCC-2345

I posted this in the multifunction DAQ forum and then realized that this area might be better suited, so I apologize for the double post. Stupid noobie...

I have what is potentially a stupid question. I'm picking up someone else's project where they attempted to use the SCC-SG04 module with a load cell. From the info I see on NI's site, the SCC-SG04 only provides a 2.5 V excitation, whereas both the load cell documentation and that on the site suggest that I need the SCC-SG24 for this application. I was wondering if someone could confirm this for me or suggest any potential work-around. When I try to calibrate the load cell, I get nonlinear and highly inconsistend results and suspect (hope) this is the culprit.
For what it's worth, this is the load cell in question: http://www.omega.com/pptst/LC203.html
Thanks in advance for your help!

You will most likely need to use the SCC-SG24 because it will provide the 10V excitation required by your load cell. The input voltage specification should be provided by Omega. 10V is the most common excitation voltage for load cells and this is likely what you will need. You could still use the SCC-SG04, however, you would need to provide the 10V excitation from a different source. It is also important to note that the accuracy of your excitation voltage is just as important as the accuracy of your voltage measurement.
