reading multiple scxi modules through one DAQ channel

Chassis: scxi 1000
Modules: 1520 1540, (with 1349 connected to 1540)

DAQ: 6036E
Current situation:
I can read each module, one at a time through
one channel one the DAQ.

Problem:
I am unable to read both modules at the same time (multiplexed)through one DAQ channel.
My objective is to switch between the two modules.

Hello JCG,

I guess I'm unsure what all you have tried. This document should explain how to set things up.

SCXI Quick Start Guide

As you may know, to address SCXI channel in traditional NI-DAQ, you use a channel addressing scheme such as "ob0!sc1!md1!0" to scan the first channel on the first module in the first chassis. Use "ob0!sc1!md1!0,ob0!sc1!md2!0" to read the first channel on both the first and second module. As you can tell, these long strings can get cumbersome. The SCXI Quick Start Guide will show you how to create Virtual Channels which can make things simpler.

I hope this helps!
