Can I use the NI-7813R with Signal Express?

Hi There,

I wanted to use signal express to log multiple digital signals. Right now when I try to add digital port or channel it only brings up one hardware device that has a single 68way SCSI plug in my National Instruments unit. I was hoping that I would be able to use the 7813R since it has 4 SCSI plugs.

How do I get Signal Express to use the 7813R?

Thanks in advance.

Good Morning Atommic,

The 7813R is one of our R-Series cards, which means that there is an FPGA at the heart of the board.  No National Instruments FPGA boards work with Signal Express.  In order to use that card, you will need LabVIEW and the LabVIEW FPGA Module.

Thanks AE Charlie. I'll look for a LabVIEW program that can map the digital waveforms I need. However, I have to plot nearly 90 digital waveforms simultaneously at around 2MHz. Can a LabVIEW program handle that?
