Single Express Export to Ascii - Not logging time

I have to say, i have come across this problem too, and it baffles me that there is no fix for this.

The three different methods for getting ascii files out of SE logs all produce different looking text files.

WHY WHY WHY is there no dialog box on the convert log to text option that would allow me to configure how the text file is displayed?

Especially since that method is the one specifically recommended by NI in response to the known issue that SE hangs or crashes if one tries to export large datasets to text. (see: NI known issues)

It seems to me like this is a pretty fundamental ommission and it seriously makes me consider dropping NI for data aquisition and moving to Matlab.

Especially since the issue is known to NI - in fact that entire known issues page is a joke. Most of those issues should never have gotten past product testing and even if they did, should have been immediately fixed with patches.

It's not a question of being slightly inconvenient - issues like this render good data unusable.
