signalexpress filemanagement

I am new to SignalExpress. I just started on it today. I have a DLL which passes parameters to a step in SignalExpress. There is a motor controlled system which communicates to SignalExpress. SignalExpress logs on the readings in a graphical format, with a .tdms extension.

One of the values returned by the DLL to the step in signalexpress is a 1 or a 0. What I want to do is simple.

I want to store the plots for 1 in a folder, and the plots for 0 in another folder automatically. Is there something in Labview or SignalExpress which I can do to achieve this?

I hope I am being clear enough here, I am not very good with the SignalExpress terminologies as yet, please help me if you can, thanks for your time!

Hello Dom87,

After reading over your post, it looks like you are receiving a value (0 or 1) and depending upon that value your want to save your save in a different folder. After looking at the functions you can use in Signal Express, there isn't a way to do this. I would suggest creating a LabVIEW VI that to do this. In order to do this in LabVIEW I have shown a picture below that you could add to signal express to choose where to save the file.

After this is created, this KnowledgeBase can show you how to add this to signal Express.
