Multiple connections within a Route in Switch Executive?

Hi. I was just giving a seminar on TS and SE and one of the questions that came up about SE was whether you could create a Route that connects one source to a whole bunch of other channels. I'm pretty sure this is not possible. In particular, what he wants to do is connect his Ground to 250 other lines. I think the only way to do this now is to create 250 Routes from the lines to Ground and then put them all into a Route Group. Even doing this, SE is going to complain because he will be using the same Configuration Channel for each Route.
I guess my questions are:

Is there a better way to do this?
If not, then can we bypass the error checking that won't allow us to create a Route group with Routes using the s
ame config Channel? Also, if there isn't a way to do this currently, then I think we should make a suggestion CAR asking to be able to easily create a Route or Route Group that consists of a single Source going to muliple destinations.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Here are my 2 cents... Instead of connecting the source to a column, connect it to a row and set up the appropriate configuration in SE so that it knows that you will be using a source. In this way, you will be able to connect more than one column to it.

Keep up the good work!

To confirm Annette's thought, if you connect your source to a column, you can create a route between this column and a row, and 250 routes between the same row and other columns. You will not get any errors.
You can also connect the source directly to a row, and create 250 routes between this row and 250 columns.
You do not need to use any configuration channels.
