Look closer at those indicators.  For A and B, the booleans are actually the dark green, meaning they are FALSE (the annoyance of that false state is documented here).  And the silver error controls actually use red for the true state.

So for you Red-Green color-blind people, NI really messed you up.

What function has been used here? I dont find it in Labview 2012.

The error ring.  Look for it in the Dialog & User Interface palette.

The top error ring is defining a "warning".  The bottom is defining an "error".  Errors always take priority over warnings.
