Re: Modifying the Radix Display

Assuming the Radix for a Constant, Control or Indicator is already displayed.  Which of the following methods/tecniques can be used to modify the value of that Radix.

NOTE:  More than one answer may apply.

A constant with Radix displayed is shown below to make the post more colourful.

Display Radix 18_12_2014.png

a) The 'Appearance' Tab on the Properties Dialog box

b) The Text Tool allows the user to enter the Radix directly

c) A CTRL-RD key combination cycles through the available Radix options

d) A left mouse click on the Radix (with the appropriate Tool is selected)

not A, that would be the Display Format tab that can do that

not B

To be honest I had to try it first. After that I have to agree crossrulz and gnshmrthy. And same for me: I do not know what the RD key is.
So D is my answer.

(In my opinion it is senseless to repeat an former answer, but I would like to receive the email about future comments in this forum to get informed about other opinions. Maybe someone can help about the mysterious RD key. So I have to write anything, even it is the same result 😉

I wouldn't loose any sleep over the RD key, it is only me that knows about it (it is a figment of my imagination)

I'm assuming the RD key is sitting right next to the "ANY" key.  http://vimeo.com/3771463

I found the RD key. It was next to the ANY key.

Answer is D as others have said.

It's the key that extends the cup holder

D. I guess.

1. One can also access properties->display format->type and then choose representation.

2. programmatically one can do it using the property node (for controls and indicators), don't know about constants
