After a network switch short, the ethernet port on our Roborio2 is no longer functional. I can connect to the rio via usb and do everything, deploy code, connect it to the drivers station, ssh into the rio, etc. We get no comms when connecting via Ethernet. When I plug my laptop into the rios Ethernet port, the Ethernet status lights will light up and stay on until the rio is power cycled. Even if Ethernet is unplugged. Connecting the rio to the radio no status lights on the rios Ethernet port light. We didn't see any visible damage to the rio when opening it. And using compressed air to remove the little bit of debris that was inside had no effect.
While debugging we replaced everything in between the rio and the computer, Ethernet cables, poe injectors for the radio, the radio itself. We also tried connecting with different computers. plugging in directly to the rio, plugging into the second port on the radio. We swapped to a spare rio1 that we had and that was when our communication issues resolved.
Attached is a photo of the ethernet status lights staying on while unplugged.

Hi seth.crampton,
My name is Jessica, I'm with NI.
I suggest to also try to reimage the device from safe mode, to discard any potential software issues.
