Hi,
I am intending to use a USRP in the 7MHz range, but I only have access to the USRP 2920, which can only run down to 50MHz.
Is it possible to use the Ettus daughter boards with the NI versions of the USRP hardware? E.g can I use an Ettus LFTX or LFRX board inside the USRP 2920 box?

Hi nsefan,
Yes, your NI hardware is compatible with the Ettus daughterboards if you were to change out the WBX inside of your 2920 for an LFRX board. The NI-USRP driver also supports the LF daughterboards. All Ettus daughterboards and NI hardware are compatible, but please check the driver readme for a list of tested and supported daughterboards in the NI-USRP driver.

Thankyou very much for the swift reply, Sarah_Y. I will double check the driver readme to see what boards are compatible. I presumably can upgrade the driver if need be?

Hey nsefan,
We just released version 1.2 a few months back and is the most up to date version that you should be using.
Even though some daughterboards aren't listed as supported, I have done light testing on all of them with LabVIEW and NI-USRP. I was able to get them all working, but I did have some issues with the RFX boards. They work ok, but they aren't in your frequency range, so it should be an issue for you.

Hi Sarah,
do you know if CBX Daughterboard can work with a NI 2920 ??
Thanks a lot in advance
