USRP configuration utility unusable

results are negativ. Even with quotes I receive the same error message "dict" object has no attribute "has_key"  (traceback line 522 in <module> )

Do you have any firewall or virus scan enabled? Is the USRP directly cabled? We have not seen this behavior before so something about the configuration appears to be unique.

Note that IP address can not be changed unless the USRP has the correct firmware version installed.

At last a good new, things are now working fine.

I see with the configuration tool my 2 USRP-2920 and I could update the image and firmware. Note that the corect ones were : ni292x_fw.bin and ni29x_fpga.bin

For that, I needed to remove the firewall !!!!  That is however not good!!!!

Hello All

I need help in setting up NI USRP 2920 using GNU radio.

I installed the GNU radio and UHD and I am trying to connect to my USRP using the uhd_find_devices commmand but it sayd the no device is found? althought the device is directly connected to my host PC via an eathernet cable.

Please verify that the UHD diver is installed properly and that the IP address and Subnet mask for your PC are correct.  UHD is an open source driver and supported by the community.

I just need to change the hostPC Id to 192.168.10.1 and the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 and the ping or use the uhd_find_devices command?? or do I need to set up an network??
